Finished commission for Psychopomp16 (on DA) of her character Io. Did this one on 9" X 12" bristol with prismacolor markers and a tad of colored pencil. I think my favorite part of this is the wings, since I used nambroths wing tutorial to get the feather layering as correct as I could. this is just gorgeous. I really love the way the hips are angled back relative to the torso, letting the legs dangle free.... it give such a sense of flight, like you really balanced out the physics of it. Its that kind of touch that takes something from "really good" to "mind-bendingly fantastic"!

I love these dogs with wings and the wings are fabulous, except the if you look at the tutorial there is a section about wings from above and below, you should have wings from below because you are looking at the underside of them but the flight feathers overlap as if it was from above. Just something I noticed because I draw a lot of wings, I hope you don't mind little critique.
